Pumphouse Park – Calgary’s most underutilized City park!

We produced another successful outdoor event this past weekend, the annual Walmart Walk for Miracles, at Pumphouse Park. The park is located beside the Pumphouse Theatre building and borders the Bow River. It is a fantastic site with great access for guest parking and an easy load in and out for all suppliers! It is adjacent to a wonderful old historic brick building that provides access to electrical, water and handicap washrooms! If you are looking for a new site – this just might be your answer!

Drenched Fest

All done getting the bands lined up for Drenched Fest this August 6 - 9. Most people already know about Hedley, State of Shock, Default, Sloan and Gob. New bands to be announced soon.

The band I'm most excited about? Hey Ocean. Great sound for this festival.

I can see it now, sitting by the lake, listening to Hey Ocean, toes in the water... And then Emma hits me with a water gun.

39,000 and counting...

That is how many steps it took to produce a great event for Rendezvous Canada on May 12 at the Calgary Round Up Centre!

How do we know? Emma wore a pedometer to track the number of steps she took the day of the event, starting with load-in at 6 am, through execution and load out. 39,016 steps in total. Double this number to include Maria who was also there every step of the way and we’re at almost 80,000 steps - quite a day!

Emma and Maria’s dedication and commitment to Rendezvous was appreciated by the guests at the event, our client and the entire Carter McRae Events’ team.

Whether it was the first step or the 39,016th, each was a step in the right direction. Thanks Ladies!

Drenched featuring the 2009 World Water Ski Championships

Big week this week. We are putting Drenched tickets on sale Saturday, April 18. Watch for the official announcement on CJAY 92 and VIBE 98.5 on Wednesday.

Drenched is being held August 6 - 9 at the Lakes of KastenStone. Very cool. A day at the lake listening to fantastic bands. Perfect.

Early Bird tickets are $149 for the weekend (four days).
